


Paikgachha Municipality unit of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami organized a cleanliness drive on Thursday morning as part of a nationwide central program.
Leaders and activists gathered at the Upazila Parishad and other key areas of the municipality, equipped with brooms and cleaning tools to clear waste and promote civic hygiene.
The program was chaired by Municipality Nayeb-e-Ameer S.M. Abdullah Al Mamun and moderated by Assistant Secretary Muhammad Shafiar Rahman. Maulana Golam Sarwar, Senior Nayeb-e-Ameer of Khulna District Jamaat, attended as the chief guest.
Other attendees included Municipality Baitul Maal Secretary Shafiqul Islam, Workers’ Welfare Federation President Sirajul Islam Palash, and various ward-level leaders.
Speaking at the event, leaders stated that the initiative aims to build a cleaner, more livable society. They emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami remains committed to social welfare and urged citizens to participate in community development activities.
