In a Bhola operation, the Coast Guard has arrested 2 drug dealers named Md. Rajib Majhi (29) and Nazrul Howlader (38) along with Yaba, Ganja and Heroin. The arrested persons are residents of Charpata Kazirhat area of Daulatkhan Upazila.
Coast Guard South Zone Media Officer Lt. BN Md. Abul Kashem confirmed this information and said, Based on a secret tip-off, a special operation was conducted by Coast Guard Base Bhola in the area adjacent to Faraji Vita under Daulatkhan Police Station in Bhola at 8 am on Saturday (January 31). After searching the area, 115 pieces of Yaba, 1 kg of Ganja, 10 pieces of Heroin worth about 1 lakh 3 thousand 500 taka and 2 drug dealers were arrested.
The seized evidence and the arrested persons were handed over to Daulat Khan Police Station for legal action.
