Pabna Drug Raid Man Arrested with 13,800 Yaba Pills

The Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) arrested a 38-year-old man and seized 13,800 Yaba pills during a raid in Pabna early Saturday.

Acting on a tip-off a DNC team raided the home of Abdul Mabud in Kashipur village under the Hemayetpur union of Pabna Sadar upazila, at around 2:00 am on August 8. Mabud son of Quaz Ali was caught on-site with the contraband.

An alleged accomplice 33-year-old Alamin alias Munna fled after sensing the presence of law enforcement. Munna is the son of the late Moktar Ali, also from Kashipur village.

Mohammad Shahidul Mannaf Kabir Deputy Director of the DNC Pabna district office confirmed the arrest and stated that operations are actively underway to apprehend the fugitive. A narcotics case has been officially filed with the Pabna Sadar Police Station.
