4 winners honored on the occasion of Begum Rokeya Day in Louhjang

Four winners have been honored on the occasion of International Women's Violence Prevention Party and Begum Rokeya Day in Louhjang. A discussion meeting was held on the occasion of International Women's Violence Prevention Party and Begum Rokeya Day under the joint initiative of the Louhjang Upazila Administration and the Upazila Women's Affairs Officer's Office, and the selected winners were honored.

On this occasion, at 11 am on Tuesday, Louhjang Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Ms. Farzana Bobby Mitu was present as the chief guest in the Upazila Parishad meeting room. Under the chairmanship of Upazila Women's Affairs Officer Aradhana Karmakar and moderated by retired primary school headmaster Roksana Parveen, Vice Principal of Government Louhjang College Shahidur Rahman Sikder, newly appointed Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Louhjang Police Station Md. Monirul Islam, women leader Salma Parvez, journalist Mizanur Rahman Jhelu, general secretary of Louhajang Upazila Press Club, Tajul Islam Rakib. Officials of various departments of the Upazila Parishad and local media workers were present at the event.

Awards were given to winners in 4 categories at the event. Mosa. Banesa Begum for her outstanding contribution to social development, Roksana Parvin, who achieved success in education and employment and financially, successful mother Ranu Begum and economically successful woman Mukti Akter received the awards.
