The newly formed Bhola Sadar Upazila committee of Islami Andolan Bangladesh formally took its oath during a ceremony held at a local restaurant on Friday evening.
Maulana Tajuddin the Vice-President of the organization’s Bhola district committee, administered the oath to the newly elected executive members.
The event was presided over by Mufti Arif Billah, President of the newly formed Sadar Upazila committee. Senior district leaders, including Bhola District General Secretary Maulana Tariqul Islam, Joint Secretary Mufti Abdul Momin and Assistant Secretary Maulana Yusuf Adnan, addressed the gathering.
Speakers at the ceremony urged the newly sworn-in leadership to work with dedication, uphold organizational discipline, and serve the public interest across the upazila.
The newly formed committee includes President Mufti Arif Billah; Vice-Presidents Maulana Nure Alam Faizi, Maulana Anwar Hossain Rumi, and Maulana Shariful Islam Siddiqui; General Secretary HM Ismail; Joint Secretary Mufti Nurullah; Assistant Secretary Maulana Belal Hossain; Organizing Secretary Mufti Zamiruddin; Publicity Secretary Md. Salah Uddin Patwary; Office Secretary Md. Firoz; Finance and Publication Secretary Md. Ismail Hossain Nawab; Training Secretary Maulana Abdul Momin; Dawah and Manpower Secretary Maulana Tayyab Hossain; Law and Human Rights Secretary Maulana Ibrahim, Female Unit Secretary Md. Nure Alam; Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Md. Alauddin Howlader; Industry and Commerce Secretary Haji Md. Dulal; Election and Public Relations Secretary Md. Hossain and members Md. Yasin Parvez, Md. Harunur Rashid, Md. Jahangir Bauli, Md. Habib, Maulana Aftab, Md. Kamal and Md. Nurul Islam. Leaders from the Islamic Teachers' Forum and the student wing, Chhatra Andolan, were also present to express their support.
