Senior BNP leader and Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan has been admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka. To prioritize his rest and recovery, attending doctors have requested that well-wishers refrain from visiting him at this time.

BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the development on Wednesday (July 1). He noted that Khan returned to Dhaka from Singapore on June 25 and was subsequently admitted to the hospital in the Bashundhara Residential Area on June 30.

Earlier today, BNP leader Advocate Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas visited the hospital to speak with the medical team regarding Khan's care.

The party has not yet released specific details concerning the nature of his illness, his current physical condition, or his ongoing treatment.
