Chhatra Dal Brings Out Joyous Rally in Laxmipur Over New Development Projects

The Laxmipur District Chhatra Dal brought out a colorful celebratory rally in the district town on Thursday, welcoming several newly announced development projects and key academic appointments for the region.

The procession was held to express gratitude to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Water Resources Minister Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie for initiating major structural development projects in Laxmipur.

Led by District Chhatra Dal Convener Abul Barakat Sourav and Member Secretary Hasibur Rahman Obi, the rally commenced from the North Temuhani Traffic Square area and marched through the town's main roads.

The student wing activists also celebrated the recent appointment of Professor Dr. Mohammad Hanif Murad the former Treasurer of Noakhali Science and Technology University as the historic first Vice-Chancellor of the newly established Laxmipur Science and Technology University.

Prominent student leaders in attendance included District Chhatra Dal Joint Conveners MA Majid, Jamal Hossain, Akbar Hossain Munna and Musa Abdullah Russell, alongside Laxmipur Government College Chhatra Dal President Ismail Hossain Rony and General Secretary Bahadur Hossain Noble. Activists from various local units joined the demonstration.
