NCP Preparing to Form Shadow Cabinet, Says Asif Mahmud

National Citizens Party (NCP) spokesperson Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan announced on Sunday that his party is preparing to form a "shadow cabinet" to monitor the new government.

In a social media post on Sunday morning, Asif Mahmud stated that the shadow cabinet’s primary role will be to act as a watchdog over the government’s overall activities. "The shadow cabinet will ensure transparency and accountability," he wrote, emphasizing the party's commitment to oversight in the post-election landscape.

The move comes as the NCP seeks to establish a structured mechanism for parliamentary and administrative accountability outside the formal government framework.
