Candidate's Nomination papers submitted for Bogra-01 Constituency

The nominated candidates of Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami have submitted their nomination papers for Bogra-01 (Sariakandi-Sonatala) constituency in Sariakandi, Bogra.

On Monday (December 29) morning and afternoon, they appeared at the office of the Upazila Executive Officer and Assistant Returning Officer and submitted their nomination papers to Assistant Returning Officer and Upazila Executive Officer Sumaiya Ferdous and Upazila Election Officer.

At 12:50 noon, Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP nominated candidate and BNP Central Committee Executive Member and former MP Alhaj Kazi Rafiqul Islam submitted his nomination papers.

Present at the time were Sariakandi Municipality BNP President Shahadat Hossain Soni, General Secretary Advocate Shariful Islam Hira, Sariakandi Upazila BNP Former President Kazi Erfanur Rahman Rentu, Former General Secretary Shahajat Hossain Paltan.

Meanwhile, at 3:10 pm, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's nominated candidate and executive committee member and editor of the daily Satmatha newspaper Chairman Shahabuddin submitted his nomination paper to the Assistant Returning Officer and Upazila Executive Officer.

Present at the time were Constituency Director Deputy Chairman Mojahidul Islam, Sariakandi Upazila Amir Professor Mao: Iqbal Hossain, Sonatala Upazila Amir Chairman Fazlul Karim, Sariakandi Upazila Secretary Mao: Kazi Zahurul Islam.
