Protesters from the Inqilab Moncho platform occupied the Shahbagh intersection following Jummah prayers on Friday, demanding the immediate arrest and trial of those responsible for the murder of Sharif Osman bin Hadi.
The Protest at "Shaheed Osman Hadi Square"
The demonstration brought traffic in the heart of the capital to a standstill. Protesters officially declared the area "Shaheed Osman Hadi Square" as they chanted slogans for justice.
Abdullah Al Jaber, member secretary of Inqilab Moncho, vowed that the movement would remain active until the perpetrators are brought to justice. The platform utilized social media to urge the public to join the campaign, framing the protest as a critical stand against political violence.
