Bangladesh's nationwide gas shortage will begin improving next week with a full return to normal supply anticipated by the following week.

Aninda Islam Amit, the State Minister for Power Energy and Mineral Resources, provided this timeline during a press briefing at the Secretariat on Monday. Acknowledging the widespread difficulties faced by the public the state minister officially apologized on behalf of the government for the temporary suffering caused by the ongoing energy crisis.

The government's assurance offers much-needed relief to citizens and businesses heavily affected by the recent supply disruptions expecting total normalization within a two-week timeframe.
