Thundershowers places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions

This information has given in the forecast for the next five days from 9am on Friday (October 10th). It said that the increase in light pressure extends through Bihar, West Bengal to the North Bay. The monsoon currently less active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate over the North Bay.

Light thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at some places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions. Heavy rainfall is likely to occur in some places. Day and night temperatures will remain nearly unchanged over the country.

On the day October 11th, the trend of rain in the southern part of the country, including Dhaka, will continue. Winds are likely to blow at 8-12km per hour from the south-southwest. The Meteorological Department said that there is no significant change in the temperature of the country.
