The session originally opened on March 12. Chief Whip Md. Nurul Islam said the House will discuss the motion of thanks on the President’s address. Lawmakers from both treasury and opposition benches are expected to take part.

The session will also include question-and-answer segments for ministers, notices from members, and brief discussions on public issues.

Parliament Secretariat sources said a total of 50 hours has been allocated for discussion on the President’s speech. According to the Business Advisory Committee schedule, the session will continue until April 30.
