The Bangladesh Election Commission (EC) has urged voters registered through the “Postal Vote BD” mobile application to submit their ballots without delay.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the EC said voters should send their completed ballots in the designated yellow envelopes to the nearest post office or letter box within the specified timeframe.

The commission emphasized that only postal ballots received by the respective Returning Officer by 4:30 pm on February 12, 2026 will be accepted for counting. Ballots arriving after the deadline will not be considered.

The EC called on postal voters to act promptly to ensure their votes are included in the election process.
