The chiefs of the three services of Bangladesh Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Nazmul Hassan, and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan paid a visit tonight to former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, who is currently undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital.

The visit was confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a brief message. According to BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan, the three service chiefs arrived at the hospital around 9:00 pm and departed at 9:20 pm. During their 20-minute visit, they reportedly inquired about her health from the medical board overseeing her treatment.

Khaleda Zia is currently admitted to the hospital's Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and is being treated under the supervision of Professor Dr. Shahabuddin Talukder. While her physicians have described her condition as stable, they noted that she will require time for a full recovery.

She is being monitored closely by her elder son Tarique Rahman and his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman from London. Additionally, her late son Arafat Rahman Koko's wife, Syeda Sharmila Rahman Sithi, is staying by her side in the hospital.
