In a message delivered at the US-ASEAN summit in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, US President Donald Trump assured Southeast Asian countries of America's enduring support.
Trump emphasized that the United States is currently experiencing its "golden age" and told the gathered leaders, "Our message to the nations of Southeast Asia is that the United States is with you 100% and we intend to be a strong partner for many generations."
His remarks affirmed the US commitment to the region's long-term partnership.
