Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan's film 'Antaratma' is set for a digital release on the OTT platform 'IScreen' starting Thursday, December 4th, seeking to reverse its commercial failure at the box office.

Two Shakib Khan films, 'Barbad' and 'Antaratma', were released for Eid-ul-Fitr. While 'Barbad' was a superhit, 'Antaratma' failed to perform well in theaters. The primary reason cited for the failure was the lack of campaigning and promotion. The film, directed by Wazed Ali Sumon, was originally shot four years ago in 2021 and was intended for release during that year's Eid. It was suddenly released this year without proper hype or marketing.

The audience favored Shakib Khan's newer, heavily hyped film, 'Barbad,' leading to 'Antaratma' being commercially unsuccessful. The production company, New Opportunity, is banking on the OTT release to reach Shakib Khan's fans who missed it in the theaters. The film was produced by Sohani Hossain under the banner of Wave Entertainment. Shakib Khan stars opposite Bollywood actress Darshana Banik. The movie also features Shahed Sharif Khan, Aruna Biswas, and Jhuna Chowdhury in key roles.

The official announcement that 'Antaratma' will be available for streaming on the popular OTT platform 'IScreen' starting tomorrow, Thursday (December 4th).
