Five Films Set for Mega Eid Release, Led by Shakib Khan’s ‘Prince’

The Bangladesh Film Certification Board has cleared five diverse films for simultaneous release this Eid-ul-Fitr. Leading the lineup is the highly anticipated "Prince. Once Upon a Time in Dhaka," starring megastar Shakib Khan.

Directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud and produced by Shirin Sultana, Prince has officially received its clearance certificate. The crime-drama, which runs for 2 hours and 29 minutes, also stars Tasnia Farin and Jyortimayee. The director shared the news on social media Monday night, marking the final step in the film's road to the big screen.

The Certification Board's Deputy Director, Md. Moinuddin, confirmed that four other films have also secured clearance for the festival

With genres ranging from action and drama to social thrillers, this year’s "release procession" has already sparked significant interest among Dhallywood fans.
