Popular Dhaka cinema hero Arifin Shuvo is making a much-anticipated return to the big screen. Following a brief hiatus, recent pictures of his intense new action look went viral on social media, sparking high interest. It has now been unofficially confirmed that Shuvo is starring in a new film, and actress Bidya Sinha Mim is paired opposite him as the heroine.

The film, directed by Saif Chandan with a screenplay by Siddiq Ahmed, is currently being shot in Rajshahi under tight privacy. The producer confirmed that the viral photos—showing Shuvo with long hair, blood stains, and bloody axes—are indeed his confirmed look for the film, which has already received a massive response from netizens.

While neither star has officially confirmed the project, the pairing with Mim is highly anticipated, especially as she is reportedly returning to the big screen two years after her last appearance. Mim's presence in Rajshahi was confirmed by her mother, though she declined to comment on the work.

This untitled action-drama is reportedly being planned for a release on Eid-ul-Fitr, which would be a significant surprise for the festival audience. Shuvo and Mim have previously been praised for their collaborations in films like ‘Tarkanta’ and ‘Sapludu’. Shuvo's last release was ‘Blue Chakra’ (Eid-ul-Azha), while Mim was recently seen in ‘Antarjal’ and Kolkata's ‘Man’.
