Bangladeshi popular film actor Arifin Shuvo will be seen in Bollywood - this news is a bit old. New news, the date and time of that viewing has been finalized.

Indian OTT platform Sony Liv has announced that the political thriller 'Jazz City', directed by popular Bollywood screenwriter and producer Soumik Sen, will be released on March 19. This is the first time that a series on the platform will be released in Bengali along with Hindi and English.

Bangladeshi Arifin Shuvo has played the central character in 'Jazz City'. In the series, he will be seen as Jimmy Roy - the heart of the story. The entire story revolves around him. In the released glimpses, Arifin Shuvo has been seen in multiple different forms. Sometimes he is elegant in a gray slim-cut suit, and sometimes he is engaged in dancing in a white sparkling suit. In each form, the atmosphere of the 1970s is revealed in the retro-style hair and clothes.

Regarding the character of Jimmy Roy in Jazz City, Arifin Shuvo says, "Jazz City is a multi-dimensional story, where not only dialogue, but also music tells the story. The feelings and situations of the character emerge outside the dialogue. The whole atmosphere of Jazz City can be felt through the combination of music, dialogue and silence."

It is known that Arifin Shuvo has acted in four languages in his first Bollywood project, 'Jazz City' - Bengali, Hindi, Urdu and English.

The teaser shows that 'Jazz City' is set against the backdrop of the Liberation War of Bangladesh and the seventies. The socio-political reality of that time, the tension between people and the story of change have emerged in the series. Every scene brings the atmosphere and history of that time to life, taking the audience to that time.

In addition to directing the series, the story and screenplay have been written by Soumik Sen, who is famous in Bollywood as the co-creator of the previously discussed 'Jubilee' series. The series will star Souraseni Mitra opposite Arifin Shuvo. Other notable faces from Bollywood and Tollywood include Shantanu Ghatak, Aniruddha Gupta, Sayandeep Sen, Shreya Bhattacharya, Shatoff Figure, Alexandra Taylor and Amit Saha.
