Former national cricket captain and opener Tamim Iqbal exercised his right to vote at a polling center in Chattogram on Thursday morning.

A voter of the Chattogram-9 constituency, Tamim arrived at the Regional Public Administration Training Centre (RPATC) on SS Khaled Road around 11:00 AM. He was accompanied by his brother and fellow cricketer, Nafis Iqbal.

The presence of the cricket icon drew significant attention from the public and fellow voters. Under standard security protocols provided by the Army and Police, Tamim entered the center to cast his ballot for the 13th National Parliament Election.

"I cast my first vote in a wonderful environment, and it feels great," Tamim told reporters afterward. "I have voted for the candidate of my choice and hope everyone will head to the polling centers to exercise their rights."
