The National Sports Council (NSC) has dissolved the current Board of Directors of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), led by Aminul Islam Bulbul. An 11-member ad hoc committee has been formed to manage the board’s operations for the next three months.

NSC Director (Sports) Aminul Ehsan confirmed the decision during a press conference this afternoon. The move follows a Ministry of Youth and Sports investigation into irregularities during the board's previous elections.

Tamim Iqbal Named Chairman, Former national captain Tamim Iqbal has been appointed as the chairman of the interim committee. The NSC has already emailed the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the dissolution and the formation of the new committee to ensure compliance with international regulations and avoid potential bans.

Members: Rashna Imam, Mirza Yasir Abbas, Syed Ibrahim Ahmed, Israfil Khasru, Minhajul Abedin, Athar Ali Khan, Tanzil Chowdhury, Salman Ispahani, Rafiqul Islam, and Fahim Sinha.
