


Voting is being held in a peaceful atmosphere in Phulbari, the constituency of Dinajpur-5 constituency. A large presence of voters has been observed at various polling stations since morning. According to polling station sources, about 20 percent of the voting has been completed till 11 am.
Voter turnout is increasing as the day progresses. Due to this, long lines of voters have been seen at most of the centers. A festive atmosphere prevails at the centers due to the spontaneous participation of voters of different ages, including men and women.
This picture was seen after visiting various polling stations in the upazila since morning. No untoward incident was reported anywhere.
Meanwhile, four executive magistrates are on duty to maintain the law and order situation of the elections. In addition, four BGB patrol teams, eight police patrol teams, RAB and striking police force have been deployed. Law enforcement officers have intensified patrols at polling stations and surrounding areas. Assistant Returning Officer and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ahmed Hasan expressed hope that the voting will be conducted in a peaceful and orderly environment.
