Election ballot papers and other equipment have reached the center of Bhola

Election materials including ballot papers have been sent to the center in Bhola. The election materials were handed over to the concerned presiding officers from the upazila headquarters on Wednesday (February 11) morning. The presiding officers left for their respective centers by 3 pm.

Ballot papers and other equipment were distributed to 114 centers of Bhola-1 constituency from the Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium on Wednesday from 11 am. The presiding officers left for the center with the materials by 3 pm. At the same time, ballot papers and other materials for Bhola-02 constituency have been distributed from the offices of Borhanuddin and Daulatkhan Upazila Nirbahi Officers, equipment for Bhola-03 constituency from the offices of Lalmohan and Tajumuddin Upazila Nirbahi Officers, and equipment for Bhola-4 constituency from the offices of Char Fason and Monpura Upazila Nirbahi Officers.

The concerned Presiding Officers have taken them to the centers on their respective responsibilities. Meanwhile, out of a total of 525 centers in the four parliamentary constituencies of Bhola district, 131 are risky centers. Of these, 43 centers are in the char between the Meghna and Tentulia rivers. A total of 10,100 law enforcement forces have been deployed to ensure the elections are fair and peaceful. 13 members of the law enforcement forces, including armed police and Ansar, are on duty at each center. In addition, the Navy, Coast Guard, and BGB patrol teams are on round-the-clock surveillance.
