The Bangladesh Jewellers Association has reduced gold prices in the local market. The price of 22-carat gold has been cut by Tk 3,266 per bhori, bringing the new price to Tk 2,46,927.

BAJUS announced the change in a notice on Thursday (April 23). The new rates take effect from 10:00 am.

According to the notice, the price adjustment follows a decline in the price of pure gold in the local market.
