The Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) has announced new measures to ensure a steady fuel supply and maintain market stability across the country.

According to a press release issued Thursday by BPC Secretary Shahina Sultana, fuel imports and delivery schedules are being strictly managed to meet public demand. Fuel is currently being transported from main installations to depots nationwide via rail wagons and tankers on a regular basis.

To further prevent shortages, the Energy and Mineral Resources Division has instructed all BPC-controlled marketing companies and depots to remain operational on public holidays, including Fridays and Saturdays. This move aims to ensure that dealers and consumers have uninterrupted access to fuel supplies.
