Prime Minister's Discretionary Fund Distributed to 41 Beneficiaries in Kalia

Grants from the Prime Minister's Discretionary Fund were distributed to 41 financially distressed individuals in Kalia upazila of Narail on Thursday afternoon.

During a ceremony at the Kalia Upazila Parishad auditorium, a total of Tk 183,500 was handed over to the beneficiaries. Narail-1 Member of Parliament (MP) Biswas Jahangir Alam attended the event as the chief guest with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Jinnatul Islam presiding over the function.

Other notable attendees included Kalia Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Idris Ali Municipal BNP President Sheikh Selim Hossain Naragati Thana BNP President Khan Matiur Rahman and General Secretary Bulbul Kabir alongside local administration officials and public representatives.

Addressing the gathering, speakers highlighted that this financial aid is a humanitarian initiative designed to support vulnerable and marginalized citizens. Receiving the crucial government assistance the beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude noting the funds will play a vital role in meeting their immediate daily needs.
