Unidentified Body Found in Abandoned Mirsarai Factory

Police recovered the body of an unidentified man, estimated to be 35 years old, from an abandoned biscuit factory in Chittagong’s Mirsarai Upazila on Tuesday morning.

Authorities found the deceased in a semi-sitting position inside the guardroom of the facility, which is located along the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in the Khoyachhara Union (near the old Mirsarai petrol pump).

Mirsarai Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Farida Yasmin confirmed the recovery. The body is being transferred to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Police have launched an investigation to identify the man and uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident.
