Another Suspect Arrested in Sitakunda RAB Member Murder Case

RAB-7 has arrested Md. Imran, a suspect in the murder of a RAB member who was killed during a terrorist attack in Jangal Salimpur, Sitakunda.

Imran, 25, is the son of Md. Azahar, a resident of the Patharighona Chinnamul No. 8 area.

Acting on a confidential tip-off, a RAB-7 team apprehended Imran in Patharighona at around 4:30 pm on Saturday (June 20), according to Assistant Superintendent of Police and RAB-7 Media Director ARM Mozaffar Hossain.

Imran has since been handed over to the Sitakunda Police Station for further legal action.

This development follows the earlier arrest of another suspect, Ali Akbar, who was detained during a raid in the Chinnamul No. 1 area of Salimpur Union on June 18.
