A man has been arrested for allegedly beating his 70-year-old father to death in Mirsarai, Chittagong, after the elderly man tried to stop him from taking drugs.
The victim, Ahmed Diller, was a resident of the Purba Alinagar Bishwatila area in the Korerhat Union, under the jurisdiction of the Zorarganj Police Station. Police have arrested his son, Ibrahim Hossain Milon, in connection with the killing.
