National Nutrition Week Concludes with Prize Distribution Ceremony in Muksudpur

The closing ceremony and prize distribution of National Nutrition Week were held in Muksudpur under the theme “End of Nutritional Inequality, Self-Reliant Bangladesh.” The program took place on Wednesday (April 29) at 10:00 AM in the conference room of the Upazila Health Complex.

The event was organized by the Institute of Public Health and implemented by the Muksudpur Upazila Health Complex. It was chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer and President of the Upazila National Nutrition Committee, Mahmud Ashiq Kabir. The event was conducted by Medical Officer Dr. Manas Bhattacharya.

Keynote speech was delivered by Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer and Member Secretary of the Upazila National Nutrition Committee, Dr. Raihan Islam Shovon. Speeches were also given by Muksudpur Upazila BNP President Abdus Salam Khan, General Secretary Tarikul Islam Raju, Resident Medical Officer Dr. Bismodeb Mondol, Freedom Fighter Dinesh Chandra Mondol, Dr. Sohrab Hossain Kobad, and President of Muksudpur Press Club, Md. Chiru Mia.

On the occasion of National Nutrition Week, several competitions were organized, including drawing competitions for students from grades 3 to 5 and 6 to 10, quiz competitions for grades 6 to 8, and essay writing competitions for grades 9 to 10.

At the end of the event, prizes were distributed among the winners by the chair, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mahmud Ashiq Kabir.
