Coast Guard Seizes 4 Illegal Trawlers in Bhola

The Bangladesh Coast Guard seized four illegal artisanal trawling boats during a raid in Bhola’s Dularhat on Tuesday afternoon.

Acting on a tip-off a team from the Charmanika Coast Guard Outpost conducted a special operation around 3:30 pm in the Maya River near the Anandabazar and Shuknakhali areas.

Media Officer of the Coast Guard South Zone Md. Abul Kashem, confirmed the seizure. He stated that legal proceedings regarding the confiscated vessels are currently underway.
