Fire Breaks Out at BD Food Cold Storage in Chattogram

A major fire broke out at the BD Food cold storage facility in the Sagarika area of Chattogram city on Sunday morning. Eight firefighting units worked to bring the blaze under control.

The fire started around 11:40 AM at Cold Storage Unit 3, according to the Chittagong Divisional Fire Service and Civil Defense control room.

Upon receiving the alert, eight units from the Agrabad and Bandar fire stations rushed to the scene. Fire service sources confirmed that the fire is now under control.

No casualties have been reported so far, and the extent of the damage remains unknown. Officials stated that a full assessment will be conducted once the fire is completely extinguished.
