Sayeed Al Noman, Member of Parliament for the Chattogram-10 constituency, has extended his support to the families affected by a horrific explosion and fire in Halishahar. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at 'Halima Manzil' in the WAPDA H-Block area.

According to local witnesses, a sudden, powerful explosion triggered a fast-spreading fire, causing widespread panic. Upon learning of the emergency, MP Noman immediately coordinated with the fire service to ensure the blaze was brought under control swiftly.

The explosion left Sakhawat Hossain and nine of his family members seriously injured. They were initially rescued and admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).

The MP visited the hospital to check on the victims' conditions and offer condolences to their relatives. Recognizing the severity of their burns, he personally ensured the victims were transferred to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka for advanced specialized care.

During his visit, Sayeed Al Noman promised comprehensive assistance to the affected families. He also directed relevant authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of the blast. Furthermore, he urged officials to strengthen local safety and security measures to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
