A “Free Qur’an Distribution” program was organized by Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir at the Barishal Campus of Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU).

The event took place on Tuesday (October 21) at Bijoy 24 Square on the campus, where a large number of general students participated spontaneously. Organizers handed out copies of the Holy Qur’an among the students and highlighted the significance of pursuing knowledge through Islamic teachings. The entire program was conducted peacefully and in an orderly manner.

Speaking about the initiative, Md. Jannatin Nayeem Jibon, President of PSTU unit of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, said,“The Qur’an is a divine blessing for all humankind. Today’s program aims to spread the light of the Qur’an everywhere. We dream of building a new Bangladesh inspired by Qur’anic knowledge, where conscience and humanity will flourish.”

A first-year student from the 2023–24 academic session said,“This initiative has deepened our spiritual inspiration and moral awareness. Such activities on campus are truly praiseworthy.”

Organizers further informed that similar programs will continue in the future to spread the message and wisdom of the Qur’an among university students.
