District Imam Conference held in Pabna to promote referendum and motivate voters

The conference was held at Sadar Upazila Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center on Tuesday (January 20) afternoon, organized by the district administration and Islamic Foundation.

Director of Rajshahi Divisional Islamic Foundation Muhammad Imamul Islam was present as the main discussant.

The event was chaired by Islamic Foundation Deputy Director Hossain Ali and was attended by Additional District Commissioner Jahangir Alam, Press Club President Akhtaruzzaman Akhter, Sadar Circle Shariful Islam and various Imams of the district.

The conference suggested motivating voters to vote "yes" in the referendum to implement the July Charter. In addition, the conference raised the issue of peaceful and free and impartial elections.
