Christmas, the main religious festival of Christians, is being celebrated in a festive atmosphere in Paikgachha. This year, Christmas is being celebrated in 40 places in the upazila. Upazila Executive Officer Wasiuzzaman Chowdhury said that 500 kg of rice has been provided by the government to each charge, including Catholics and Baptists of the upazila. The streets and courtyards of the missions have been colored in the colors of Alpana.

Sukumar Mondal said that there is a happy atmosphere among the Christians to be able to celebrate religious festivals in a festive atmosphere. Meanwhile, Upazila Executive Officer Wasiuzzaman Chowdhury and UNO's wife Dr. Farzana Yasmin Lisa exchanged Christmas greetings with Christians on the occasion of Christmas.
