The Christian community in Pabna is celebrating Christmas today with great joy and religious solemnity.
Churches throughout the district have been brightly decorated, while Christian households are marked by traditional Christmas trees, handmade mangers (cowsheds), and the preparation of local winter delicacies (pitha).
A major prayer service was held at the Pabna Baptist Church at 9:00 am, led by Pastor Ishaq Sarkar. Congregants prayed for the continued peace, prosperity, and well-being of the nation.
Following the spiritual service, the festivities continued with a ceremonial cake-cutting event.
To ensure a peaceful environment for all worshippers, the local police administration has implemented special security measures across all religious venues in the district.
