Fire breaks out at Panmark Garments in Chattogram

A fire broke out at Panmark Garments in Kalurghat BSCIC Industrial Area of Chattogram City. The fire broke out on Tuesday (November 25) night, said Saiful, operator of the Agrabad Fire Service control room.

He said that four units reached the spot after receiving the report of the fire at 9:05 pm and were able to control the fire after about an hour and a half of effort. No casualties were reported in the incident. It is initially reported that some of the raw materials and equipment inside the factory were damaged.

Operator Saiful also said that the cause of the fire has not yet been determined with certainty. An investigation is underway to find out the specific source of the fire. The exact extent of the damage and rescue work will be officially announced after the investigation is completed.
