


A new convening committee for Press Five, an organization encompassing journalists from five upazilas of the Lalmonirhat district, has been announced. The committee was formed to properly manage the organization's activities, increase its organizational strength, and create a unified platform for journalists.
The three main advisors—Dr. Hasanuzzaman Jewel (Poet and Writer), Mehedi Hasan Jewel (District Representative, Bangla Vision), and Rezaul Karim Manik (District Representative, Bangladesh Pratidin)—stated that the committee aims to make the organization's activities more dynamic, well-organized, and strengthen its role in journalists' professional development and rights realization.
The newly appointed members promised to work with transparency, accountability, and professionalism. They emphasized focusing on the welfare and training of news workers, alongside initiatives to ensure ethical journalism and information accuracy.
