


The overall environment and quality of healthcare services at Monohardi Upazila Health Complex were inspected to ensure improved and quality medical care for patients seeking treatment.
During the inspection Upazila Nirbahi Officer reviewed various hospital activities with hygiene practices and cleanliness with the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer [UHFPO]. He also visited the children’s, women’s, and male wards to inquire about patients’ treatment and the overall situation.
At the time, he spoke with patients receiving treatment and gathered their feedback and experiences regarding the quality of service, medical care, availability of medicine and other issues. The UHFPO assured that necessary steps would be taken to further strengthen cleanliness in the hospital.
The Upazila Nirbahi Officer said “Ensuring that every patient coming to the hospital receives proper medical care in a harassment-free environment is one of the Upazila Administration’s key responsibilities. Necessary measures will be taken to improve the hospital’s cleanliness, hygiene and service quality. At the same time, the Upazila Administration and the Health Department will work together to completely reduce the harassment of brokers and ensure a patient-friendly environment.”
He further said “Government hospitals are one of the main sources of healthcare for ordinary people. Therefore, everyone concerned must play a responsible role in ensuring that patients receive the services they deserve.”
During the visit Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Sajeb Mia, Officer-in-Charge of Monohardi Police Station Md. Jahangir Badsha along with journalists from print and electronic media were present.
