Hasnat Abdullah Takes Oath as MP Wearing 'Uprising Jersey'

Hasnat Abdullah, the chief organizer of The National Citizens Party (NCP) in the southern region, entered the Parliament building to take oath as a Member of Parliament (MP) wearing that familiar jersey.

The newly elected members of parliament will take oath on Tuesday (February 17). Hasnat was seen entering the Parliament around 11:30 am wearing that familiar 'historical' jersey.

Hasnat was seen wearing a jersey in a Dhaka University protest during the 2024 mass uprising. He continued the protest in the same jersey for a long time. He even wore the same outfit at the swearing-in ceremony of the interim government after the fall of the Awami League government.

Then, Hasnat took to the stage at the inauguration ceremony of the National Citizens Party (NCP) wearing that familiar T-shirt. This time, this NCP leader came to take oath as a Member of Parliament wearing that jersey as well.
