Due to severe weather and ongoing flood conditions, the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations scheduled for tomorrow, July 8, have been postponed in Chattogram, Cox's Bazar and Rangamati districts.

The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee announced the decision today, prioritizing the safety of examinees amid the deteriorating regional weather.

The postponement applies to all HSC exams under the General Education Board, Alim exams under the Madrasa Board and HSC Vocational, Business Management (BM), and Diploma in Commerce exams under the Technical Education Board within these three specific districts.

Authorities emphasized that this suspension is strictly localized. Exams in other districts under the Chattogram Education Board, including Bandarban and Khagrachhari, will proceed exactly as scheduled.

Similarly, examinations under the country's other nine general education boards, as well as all madrasa and technical boards outside the affected areas, will be held tomorrow without any interruption.

A revised schedule for the postponed exams in Chattogram, Cox's Bazar and Rangamati will be published in a subsequent official notification. Students and guardians are advised to monitor official board channels for future updates.
