The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent Information and Communication Technology (ICT) exam scheduled for Saturday, July 11, has been postponed across all districts under the Chittagong Education Board due to severe weather and worsening flood conditions.
The announcement was confirmed in an official notification signed by Professor Parvez Sajjad Chowdhury, the Controller of Examinations for the Chittagong Education Board. The suspension impacts students across five districts: Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Rangamati, Bandarban, and Khagrachari.
This marks the second major disruption for local candidates this week. Previously, the board was forced to postpone the HSC exams scheduled for July 8 due to the same adverse weather conditions.
Education board authorities stated that a revised schedule for the postponed ICT exam will be announced soon. Students and guardians are advised to monitor official board channels for further updates.
