President, PM to join main Eid prayers at National Eidgah

The main congregation of Eid-ul-Azha will be held at the National Eidgah ground at 7:30 AM, featuring participation from President Md. Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. Mohammad Abdus Salam, Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), announced this on Monday morning after inspecting the venue.

The administrator stated that the ground can accommodate approximately 35,000 worshippers at a time. To manage the crowd smoothly, four entry gates and seven exit gates will be maintained.

In case of inclement weather, the main congregation will shift to the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 8:00 AM.

Regarding civic management, the administrator committed to clearing all sacrificial waste within eight hours. He urged city residents to dispose of animal waste strictly at designated spots rather than dumping it into drains.
