PM Chairs 10th ECNEC Meeting17 Projects on Agenda

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is currently presiding over the tenth meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) for the 2025-26 fiscal year. The session began Sunday morning at the Cabinet Division’s meeting room in the Bangladesh Secretariat.

This marks a significant step in the government's development momentum, following the first ECNEC meeting of the current term held earlier this month on April 6.

The meeting involves the review and potential approval of 17 development projects. High-level cabinet members in attendance include Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury Minister for Finance and Planning, Salahuddin Ahmed Home Minister, Sheikh Rabiul Alam Minister for Road Transport and Bridges

Additional Press Secretary to the Prime Minister, Atiqur Rahman Rumon, confirmed that senior secretaries and officials from relevant ministries are also present to provide technical briefings on the proposed projects.
