Ansar-VDP Chief Meets Prime Minister

Major General Abdul Mataleb Sajjad Mahmud, Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman this morning, Wednesday, March 4.

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Secretariat. During the visit, the Prime Minister praised the patriotism and professionalism of Ansar and VDP members. He directed the force to maintain its commitment to public service, focusing on national peace, security, and the welfare of the people.

The Director General briefed the Prime Minister on the force’s ongoing developmental projects. Prime Minister Rahman assured that support for these initiatives would continue, emphasizing the importance of maximum preparedness in safeguarding the country's sovereignty.
