Ahead of the 13th National Parliament Election, the Officers-in-Charge (OC) of eight police stations of Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) have been transferred.
This information was given in an office order signed by GMP Additional Police Commissioner Mohammad Zahidul Hasan on Thursday (December 4).
Among the transferred police officers are GMP Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Mehedi Hasan has been transferred to Tongi East Police Station, Tongi West Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Harun-or-Rashid has been transferred to Bason Police Station, Kashimpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Moniruzzaman has been transferred to Gacha Police Station, Pubail Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Khalid Hasan has been transferred to Kashimpur Police Station, Bason Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Shahin Khan has been transferred to Tongi West Police Station, Gacha Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Aminul Islam has been transferred to Sadar Police Station, DB (North) Division Mohammad Jalal Uddin Mahmud to Konabari Police Station, Tongi East Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Atiqur Rahman to Pubail Police Station, Tongi East Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Ohiduzzaman to DB North and Konabari Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Salahuddin to DB South.
The transferred officers have been relieved of their existing duties and instructed to join their new posts as soon as possible.
