


A five-day 'Jor Ijtema', which serves as the preparatory gathering for the larger Bishwa Ijtema, is set to commence tomorrow, Friday, following the Fajr prayers on the banks of the Turag river in Tongi.
Jor Ijtema (a preparatory event for Bishwa Ijtema). Five days, starting from Fajr prayers tomorrow, Friday and will conclude before noon on Tuesday, December 2 in the bank of the Turag river at Tongi.
Shura-e-Nizam, Tabligh Jamaat Bangladesh (Jobayer faction), the Jor Ijtema is held annually, approximately 40 days before the main Bishwa Ijtema. It provides an opportunity for Tabligh members (especially Chillah observers) from both home and abroad to review their yearly religious work and receive guidance and instruction from senior leaders.
Seniors and companions of the Shura-e-Nizam group from various countries have already begun gathering at the tin-shed mosque located in the north-eastern corner of the Ijtema ground.
Additional police forces will be deployed by the Tongi West Police Station to ensure the security and safety of the participating devotees throughout the five-day event.
