The Israeli military has announced a series of airstrikes on Iran, including in the capital, Tehran. The announcement came shortly after US President Donald Trump described an internationally mediated ceasefire proposal as “not enough.”
In a message posted on Telegram, the Israeli military said it carried out coordinated strikes targeting what it described as Iranian regime infrastructure across multiple locations.
Iran has continued retaliatory attacks. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said its air defense systems are actively intercepting missiles launched from Iran.
The Israeli military confirmed the developments on Tuesday.
Israel and the United States have conducted sustained attacks on Iran over the past 39 days, causing significant damage and casualties, according to multiple reports. Despite ongoing international mediation efforts, there is no clear indication that the conflict will end soon.
